BEFORE PURCHASING A B/RB ENGINE FOR INSTALLATION IN YOUR '67-69 ORIGINAL BIG BLOCK A-BODY OR '65 C-BODY MAKE SURE IT HAS THE SPECIAL ENGINE MOUNTING BOSSES REQUIRED (See illustration). NOT ALL B/RB ENGINES HAVE THESE BOSSES.

Originally designed to accommodate the Big Block oil pump, these bosses are absolutely essential for mounting a B/RB engine into original Big Block A & C-Body cars for these years. Unfortunately, not even our most experienced Mopar experts and advisors have been able to give us a precise list of which engines, from which years, have the bosses. They can be found most reliably on newer style B/RB engines ('76 and up) because they were required to accommodate power steering in these Big Block vehicles. You may find that some engines have the bosses, but no holes — you'll have to drill them out yourself.

'67-69 A-Body Original B/RB Kit

If you're the lucky owner of an original Big Block A-Body from 1967-69, or a 1965 C-Body, you know that the special driver's side insulator required by its biscuit-style mounting system has long been discontinued. In the past, that's meant that the simple, and all-too common, occurrence of a blown insulator could be all it takes to take your dream machine off the road, permanently. But not any longer. Kit includes powder-coated brackets, insulators, grade 8 bolts and instructions.

'67-69 A-Body Original B/RB Kit LH Bracket and Insulator

We've developed a new left hand bracket that is a near-perfect replica of the original, with one exception; it's been slightly reconfigured to accept a more common insulator. Installed, there is no visual difference between this new bracket and the original. Includes powder-coated left hand bracket, insulator, and grade 8 bolts.

Mini Starter

This is the starter we recommend for use with all of our big block and small block header applications. It's not the only starter that will work, but it's the one most commonly available new - from us or your Dodge dealer. In fact, it's the starter we use to test fit all of our headers. Adjustability! B/RB Header Ball-Joint Flange Pipes. Designed to weld to existing exhaust systems. You can also create your own exhaust system using these flange pipes. Contains all grade 8 hardware with grade 9 washers. Install as per factory manual.

Shim Pack

Small position adjustments for header clearance are easy with this kit designed for all biscuit mounting systems. Contains 8 shims, 2 of each: 1/16", 3/16", 1/8", 1/4". For B/RB and small block engines. Available for purchase separately.

B/RB Header Gasket Kit

Contains 8 header gaskets, graphite with metal tang inside. Included for free with B/RB Header purchase or available for purchase separately.
