Dakota Tri-Y Under Chassis B/RB Headers

Available for 1987-2004 Dodge Dakotas. We reccommend purchasing our complete Header & Oil Pan Package, but our Dakota B/RB Headers are available separately as well. Our new under-chassis Tri-Y header system gives you high-flow header performance with a custom fit. Retain exhaust studs in the heads — no more breaking into water jackets! Plus, unlike most headers, it doesn't capture the starter, has excellent spark plug clearance, and is easily installed from the top down. Works with manual or power steering and automatic transmission. Comes with socket flanges, gaskets, and hardware.

'97-04 Dakota B/RB Conversion Kit

Upgrade to Big Block power! '97-04 Dakota B/RB conversion kit. The most requested swap kits in our history. The kits feature left and right brackets with insulators, mounting bolts and instructions. This installation requires no welding and is a direct bolt-on using existing holes.

Polyurethane Dakota Tranny Mount

Long popular with our passenger car customers, the extra strength and durability of a polyurethane tranny mount is now available for our Dakota customers. Fits all ‘97-04 B/RB Dakotas and replaces worn out original Dakota tranny mounts. Comes with Dakota Tranny Adaptor Bracket.

CHROMEX (CERAMIC) PLATING is our best performance coating. Its thermal barrier characteristics provide a dramatic reduction in radiated heat. This means reduced under-hood temperatures, accelerated exhaust gas velocity and a longer life expectancy for the entire exhaust system, not to mention chemical and corrosion resistance.

SATIN BLACK (CERAMIC) PLATING* is our stealthy, semi-flat black alternative to the Chromex performance
coating. It shares the same
thermal barrier, heat
reduction, accelerated
exhaust, and corrosion
resistance characteristics
as the Chromex ceramic
coating.

CHROME NICKEL PLATING is a good coating at a reasonable price. It resists corrosion and protects against rust. It has a bright shine, but it does change color with heat.

BARE METAL (uncoated) headers are our least expensive exhaust solution, but they will rust unless painted or plated.

Our ceramic plating is done at Performance Coatings in Auburn, WA. Please visit their website for more information about ceramic plating.

Stud

Double-Ended Stud

The 5.7/6.1 Hemi oil pan requires a double-ended stud on the #3 main bearing cap to help support the oil pick-up tube. This stud comes standard in trucks but isn't on the passenger car engines. The stud can be purchased from SCS or your Dodge dealer. The part number is 6506333AA.
