5.7/6.1/6.4 Gen 3 Hemi passenger car conversion kits for your 73+ A, B, C, F, M, J Body vehicle with a V8 K-Member. Installation requires no K-member modification. Kits include powdercoated brackets, polyurethane spool bushings, grade 8 hardware kit, and instructions. An oil filter block off plate and remote mount filter is required. We offer a block off plate HERE.

NOTE: Over the years Chrysler has changed/added casting bosses to their blocks. In some installations it may be required to grind or notch these bosses for clearance.

A-Body Installs: Low mount, passenger style, A/C compressors will not work. High mount or aftermarket front drive is recommended.

HEMI swap in 1939 Plymouth

We had a 318/727 combo in our 39 Plymouth. We swapped iit out for a 2003 truck 5.7L / 545RFE combo. We used The 73 up A Body spool mounts with external oil filter kit. Once we ground down a small casting lug on tboth left and right side of the 5.7 the mounts fit great and located the engine right where the 318 had sat. Second time using Schumacher mounts and both times they made our engine swaps easy. Definitely recommend them.
