Great replacement to the stock gear reduction starter.  Works great with our Tri-Y Big and Small block headers.  Due too casting variances, it is recommended to test fit the starter prior to final installation. In some instances there is excess casting that will need to be ground down for proper fit. Also take notice of the power lug clearance to the side of the block. This unit is considered a rebuilt starter, due to the re-use of the housings. All internals are new.

Schumacher tri ys

I recently bought some tri ys from Schumacher. I found the finish a little rough, for example, you can see where they were clamped in a vice because they were scuffed and the tubes were pinched a bit but not a huge deal for me. The way they were packed was fantastic, no chance of damage, so thanks for that and shipping was fast. Customer support was great and helpful. Thanks so much to you guys for providing an option for me to have headers in my big block Dart!
